Can’t Be A Sober Drunk

Dear Collective Community,

This week, we’re embracing the intention: “To become the new you, you must begin to get rid of the old you.” Change is about evolution, not revolution—it doesn’t mean uprooting everything at once. Instead, it's about thoughtfully reflecting on the person you want to become and identifying what no longer serves you in that transformation.

Think of it this way: You can't be a sober drunk. To move forward, there are elements of our old selves—habits, mindsets, or behaviors—that we must leave behind. It’s not about discarding our entire identity but about refining it, shedding the layers that hold us back to reveal the traits that will lead us to where we want to be.

Look at the traits you aspire to embody. Are there aspects of your current self that conflict with these new traits? It might be as simple as letting go of procrastination to become more disciplined or moving past self-doubt to embrace confidence. Each small change nudges you closer to your goals.

As we continue this journey together, let’s focus on these shifts, knowing that with each intentional step, we are shaping the best version of ourselves.

With strength and determination,
Charlie
