Why you should read to The Almanack of Naval Ravikant

For one, it’s free. The link to his site is below. Naval is the founder and CEO of Angelist. It’s a platform to link startups with venture capitalists for funding. Think Shark Tank without the show. Naval build a fair amount of recognition with his twitter handle @naval. Most of the tweets are simple thoughts that can be made complex under consideration. Case in point, “intentions don’t matter. Actions do. That’s why being ethical is hard.” Yes you read that right and I agree. I push weekly intentions and agrees intentions don’t matter. It’s the actions to improve that make the difference. I cannot say I am something unless I do something that proves it. So set and intention. It’s not the end of the world if you don’t succeed at it, but it is detrimental to say and act in opposition. Try to be the things in life you want to do. Know that it will be tough and still push yourself to improve. I’ll finish with another one of his statements. “There’s not really that much to fear in terms of failure, and so people should take on a lot more accountability than they do.”
