Crunch Wrap

Ingredients:

For the Crunchwrap:

  • 4 oz lean ground turkey or chicken

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 high-fiber, low-carb large tortilla wrap

  • 1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt (sub for sour cream)

  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce

  • 2 tbsp salsa

  • 2 tbsp shredded reduced-fat cheese

  • 1 small whole-wheat tostada or baked tortilla chips

Optional Veggie Fillings:

  • Diced tomatoes

  • Diced onions

  • Fresh cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Turkey/Chicken:

    • Season the ground turkey or chicken with salt and pepper.

    • In a non-stick skillet, cook over medium heat until browned and cooked through.

  2. Assemble the Crunchwrap:

    • Place the large tortilla on a flat surface.

    • In the center, layer cooked turkey, Greek yogurt, shredded lettuce, salsa, and shredded cheese.

    • Top with the tostada or tortilla chips for crunch.

    • Add any optional veggie toppings as desired.

  3. Fold and Grill:

    • Carefully fold the tortilla edges over the filling to create a sealed wrap.

    • Lightly spray a non-stick skillet with cooking spray and place the Crunchwrap seam-side down over medium heat.

    • Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

  4. Serve and Enjoy:

    • Slice in half and enjoy your homemade, high-protein Crunchwrap!
