Orange Chicken (fitfoodieliving)

Ingredient List

Recipe:
(Chicken)
✰ 16 oz chicken
✰ 1/3 cup corn starch or flour (I did half and half)
✰ seasoning (onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper)
✰ 1/4 cup Greek yogurt


(Orange Sauce)
✰ 4 Tbsp soy sauce
✰ 3 tbsp rice vinegar
✰ 1 tsp sesame oil
✰ 2 garlic cloves
✰ 1 Tbsp corn starch mixed with 1/2 cup water
✰ 1/4 cup monkfruit
✰ chili flakes, ginger, salt, and pepper to taste
1. Preheat air fryer to 400F (or oven to 450)
2. Cut chicken into cubes, add Greek yogurt and spices and combine well.
3. Coat pieces in corn starch/flour mixture well and air fry for 12-15 min or until crispy and cooked through (165F internal temp).
4. Combine sauce ingredients on pan on med-high heat until sauce thickens.
5. Add chicken to sauce and combine.
6. Serving with rice and broccoli if desired and enjoy!

Instructions

  1. Chicken

    1. Select which hand will be dry and which will be wet (if you mix, your hands will get a little gross)

    2. Set Bowls 1&2 next to each other and dip chicken in the first.

      1. Thoroughly coat the chicken in Bowl 1. Really press it in.

      2. Use dry hand to dip in Bowl 2, then use your wet hand to soak the chicken. Once coated, use your wet hand to move it back to Bowl 1

      3. Use dry hand to press the breading in

    3. Liberally spray the top of the chicken with cooking spray

    4. Place chicken in pre heated air fryer (oil side down) and spray the top the same

    5. Air Fry at 365-370F for 10 Mins

  2. Stack like a sandwich and smother in hot sauce.
