Hash Brown Waffles

  • 2 cups grated potatoes

  • 1 scoop (30g) unflavored casein protein powder

  • 1/4 cup grated onion

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste (then a ton more salt)

  • 2 whole eggs

  • 2 egg whites

  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle maker to medium-high heat.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together grated potatoes, whey protein powder, grate onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Add the whole eggs and egg whites to the mixture and mix until well combined.

  4. Spray your waffle maker with non-stick cooking spray.

  5. Add the potato mixture to the waffle maker, spreading it out evenly.

  6. Close the waffle maker and cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  7. Carefully remove the hash browns from the waffle maker using a spatula.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
