Custard French Toast (1 Serving)

Ingredient List

  • 4 Slices of Bread (find the lowest calorie version)

  • 1 large Egg

  • 2 Egg White

  • 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk

  • 10g Sugar or Sugar Substitute

  • 5g of Vanilla Extract

  • 10-15g Ground Cinnamon

  • 1/2 Scoop Casein Vanilla Protein

  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients (except the bread) in a bowl and mix until homogenous

  2. Submerge a slice of bread and place in a heated nonstick pan sprayed with a slight amount of cooking spray

  3. Cook on one side for 1-2 minutes, while this occurs, try to pour a little more of the mix on top. It will absorb a fair amount.

  4. Flip and cook the other side

  5. Repeat with the next slice.

  6. Should have little to no mix left for the bread.

It can be topped with sugar-free syrup/fruit/Greek yogurt
