Ingredient List

  • 1 lb. 94/6 lean ground beef

  • 1/2 cup low-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • 1/4 cup turkey pepperoni, chopped

  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 4 Hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the lean ground beef, shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped turkey pepperoni, pizza sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

  3. Preheat a grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.

  4. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  5. Optional: Toast the hamburger buns if using.

  6. Assemble the pizza burgers by placing a cooked patty on a bun or lettuce wrap. Top with additional pizza sauce, cheese, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, or any other desired toppings.
