Sloppy Joe Casserole (makes 6 servings)

Ingredient List

  • 2 lb Ground Turkey

  • 1 small can Tomato Paste

  • 12oz can Crushed Tomato

  • 1/2 White Onion

  • 1/2 Bell Pepper (your choice of color)

  • 1/2 cup Ketchup

  • 1/2 cup Honey

  • 1/2 container of Pretezilla Balls or dice Pretzel Buns

  • 3oz Shredded Cheese (Cheddar/Colby/Melty Cheese)

  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 tbsp Herb de Providence or Italian Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Dry Sage

  • 1 tsp Poultry Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp Cumin

  • 1 tsp Coriander

  • 1 tsp Paprika

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  2. Spray 9X13in pan with cooking spray

  3. Cut Pretzel Balls in half or Dice Pretzel Bun then spread in the dish

  4. Sauté Onion and Bell Pepper add to Pretzels

  5. Cook Ground Turkey

  6. Add Tomato Paste and Crushed Tomato

  7. Add herbs and seasons Items #10 -#19

  8. Add Ketchup and Honey then stir to combine

  9. Smother the pretzels with the sloppy joe mix.

  10. Top with cheese

  11. Bake for about 15-20 mins to warm the Pretzel and melt the Cheese

  12. Rest for 5-10 mins

  13. Cut and serve

  14. (Extra thing) if there are leftovers, cut them into pieces and toss it in the fridge overnight

    1. Bake in the air fryer 400 degrees F for 5-8 mins (look for dark brown crispy edges)
